The 2018 Buick Encore has a diminutive design that is somewhat understated. Available in a number of enticing colors the Encore has a design that has plenty of curves in its exterior. The bumper and lamps get a small makeover. They are Led powered now. The cabin is snug looking but tall adults will find the back seat tedious to fit in. The seats, however, are comfortable and they can be folded flat to pack in more cargo. There are 6 trims available. In the cabin, materials are above average and they are better in top two trims- as expected. The cargo capacity of the Encore lags behind most rivals, which may affect its appeal.
The 2018 Buick Encore is sold in 6 trims- 1SV, Preferred, Preferred II, Sport Touring, Essence and Premium. The Preferred and 1Sv are more or less similar. Both trims are equipped with18-inch alloy wheels, LED running lights, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, keyless entry, LED running lights, roof rails, cruise control, rear privacy glass, rearview camera, satellite radio, synthetic leather upholstery etc. They also get 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Buick’s IntelliLink infotainment setup.

The 2018 Buick Encore offers nice ride and cabin remains quiet owing to the company’s liberal usage of noise insulating materials. There are 2 engine choices available- standard 1.4-liter turbocharged with 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque and also a beefier engine with 153 horses and 177 pound-feet output. The EPA rating is 28 and 34 mpg on the city and highway with FWD, and 26 and 32 mpg with the AWD.

The 2018 Buick Encore will be released most likely in late 2017. Base trim price may be close to $24,000 while top trim price may hover around $32,000.
The styling may not be too appealing but it is not dull either. However, the amenities and safety features are good, except for the base trim. The drive quality is also good and you get superb value for money.
