With the upcoming 2018 Audi SQ7 TDI, it is more than obvious that the German manufacturer wants to offer the fastest and most maneuverable SUV on the market. The SQ7 is basically a high-performance variant of the current Q7 SUV, so the customers will know what to expect for the most part. However, the Audi has decided to spice things up a bit and introduce a couple of changes, that will improve the performance even further and add to the aesthetics of the SUV. With these, the SQ7 is expected to square off against the Porsche Cayenne and the BMW X6.
2018 Audi SQ7 TDI – Stunning Design
On the outside, the newest 2018 Audi SQ7 TDI will not look drastically different from the Q7. Like the Q7, the SQ7 is also built on the brand new MLB Evo platform from the VW Group, which will ensure maximum durability, strength, and flexibility. However, in order to complement the SQ7’s performance and athletic nature, the Audi has opted to make the exterior a bit more muscular and aggressive. It is important to notice that the look of the SQ7 will not be overly aggressive, like some other models, but will strike a perfect balance between discreetness and aggressiveness. From the front, the look of the SUV is dominated by a large, trapezoidal grille, alongside slightly revamped LED headlamps and running lamps. On the sides, the SQ7 sports big, 20-inch wheels, whereas, in the rear, one can easily notice a quad-tip exhaust.
Just like its exterior, the interior of the 2018 Audi SQ7 TDI will not differ greatly from the interior of the Q7. The Audi has yet again opted for a combination of luxury and subtleness, in order to provide a smooth and comfortable driving experience. The latest SQ7 features brand-new leather sports seats and plenty of Alcantara, chrome and matte aluminum touches, as well as a prominent “S” badge.
All in all, the customers will not be surprised or amazed with the SQ7’s interior, but will definitely enjoy every second they spend in it. In the tech department, the SQ7 will feature plenty of safety and infotainment options. These will include an adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, safety cameras and more. As far the infotainment is concerned, the new SUV features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, along with a smaller 8.3-inch MMI display, a 19-speaker Bose sound system and a number of connectivity functions.
2018 Audi SQ7 TDI – Engine Specs and Performance

It will come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and will propel the SQ7 to a top speed of 155 mph and from 0 to 62 mph in under 5 seconds. When it comes to its EPA, it is rated at 21/30 mpg in city/highway conditions.
