For the higher XLE variant, extra features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic dual-zone climate control, fog lights, heated mirrors, bolstered front seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, a height-adjustable power liftgate, and a sunroof. Further upgrading to the SE variant gives you access to a bevy of interior and exterior styling details, keyless entry, and ignition, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lighting, leather upholstery, sport-tuned suspension system, and front heated seats.

Meanwhile, the top of the line RAV4 Limited trim features a rearview auto-dimming mirror, navigation system, smartphone app integration, chrome clad exterior trim, and adaptive cruise control. Generally speaking, the interior design features pronounced angles and lines that effectively gives this vehicle a modern look.

The new 2017 Toyota RAV4 is helmed by a powerful 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. This engine can propel 176 hp and 172 pound-feet of torque. It is available in either FWD or AWD and is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. For the AWD, it can sprint to 60 mph in just 9.2 seconds. In terms of fuel efficiency, the FWD rates 29/22/25 mpg while the FWD rates 30/23/26 mpg.

According to rumors, the 2017 Toyota RAV4 is due for release in the latter half of 2017. The base trim expected to be sold at around $25,000. The estimated rate is up by at least a thousand as compared to the outgoing model.
